Why can't disadvantaged and minority communities get ahead when the U.S. Economy is "booming"? Half the people in the country don't have $1000 for a financial emergency. This means the economy is not working for half the people in this country.  All communities must participate in the modern economy before it will truly flourish.

How can we take a thoroughly researched issue and implement an innovative strategy directly in communities that need change the most? 

GPI works with local leaders and civil rights groups to determine issues negatively impacting their constituents and develops solutions to help disadvantaged communities flourish.
